Mini Penguins & Penguins (2 years - 5 years)
Our Mini Penguins & Penguins Room caters for children aged 2 to 5 years and operates term-time only, offering a supportive and stimulating environment to help children develop confidence, independence, and readiness for school.
For our younger children, we focus on key life skills such as toilet training, following hygiene routines, and exploring new activities through play. As children grow, we support their transition into school readiness with structured routines such as daily circle time and phonic-based learning, all delivered through fun and engaging activities.
The room is fully child-led, allowing children to self-select toys, resources, and activities that interest them. They also enjoy regular access to the garden, encouraging outdoor play and discovery.
Every child is assigned a key worker who builds a strong, supportive bond and uses the child’s individual interests to plan activities that support their learning and development milestones.
The Mini Penguins & Penguins Room is a warm, inclusive space where children are nurtured, challenged, and celebrated as they grow and prepare for the next stage of their learning journey.
